How it works

Read the diagram left to right: sim data (each wheel separately, plus car-level signals) becomes effects, the zone router decides which zones each effect plays in and how loud, and every zone drives exactly one shaker through its audio channel. The guide auto-plays four worked examples; the top-down rig map shows which shakers fire. Use the toggle to switch between a 5-shaker and a 2-shaker layout.

Set it up

Two worked examples, played back on the Zone Setup screen: the exact clicks, in order. Example A puts a front and a rear shaker on a plain stereo sound card. Example B runs four corner shakers plus a seat shaker on a multi-channel interface. The chapter dots and the arrows let you scrub; the captions on the right explain every move.

Tune the mix in Channel Routing

Channel routing decides how much of each effect reaches each shaker. Rows are effects, columns are your zones, and every slider is a volume from 0% to 100%. The defaults sit at 100% across the grid, and that already works. The playback below tunes the 5-shaker rig from Step 2: gear shifts into the seat, ABS onto the front axle, and every slider trick on the way.

ControlWhat it does
Drag a sliderSets how much of that effect reaches that zone, from 0% to 100%.
Right-click a sliderMutes that cell. Right-click again restores the previous level.
Scroll on a sliderFine adjustment, 1% per notch.
Double-click a sliderResets that cell to its default.
Play on an effect rowPreviews that effect, so you hear exactly what you are tuning.
Play under a zoneTests that shaker alone, straight through its channel.
Zone knobMaster volume for that shaker. The Dev label shows which output device drives it.
Save As / LoadStores and recalls routing profiles. Routing is saved per sim.
Reset RoutesReturns the whole grid to defaults.
PedalsSeparate routing for pedal actuators: choose which effects each one plays.
